FAQ - KNX PLC
What is a PLC and what is it for?
The CODESYS PLC executes a program and elaboratesthe digital and analog signals coming from sensors and meant for the actuatorsinstalled in a KNX plant. A PLC installed a cabinet allows the implementationof specific functions for installed systems and plants: load control, heatingsystem, anti-theft system, irrigation, LAN, lighting, etc.
Does Ekinex have a KNX logic module in its catalog?
Yes, the CODESYS PLC is a freely programmable logic controller equipped with a KNX interface alllowing the contemporary executionof multiple complex logic blocks. The system integrator writes the program on aPC, using the objects defined in the ETS project, and downloads it into the PLCthrough the proper communication cable. The system integrator can verify at anytime what the PLC is elaborating by connecting to it with a PC.
